"Family Circus" Venice Beach, Ca

from $95.00

Family Circus among the surf.

At the foot of the viby Venice Boardwalk scene is BREAKWATER the go-to surf spot. One morning, I captured a vibrant group of children joyfully playing in the waves. Their carefree laughter echoed alongside the crashing waves and determined surfers. As I watched, I couldn't help but smile, reminiscing about my own beach visits as a child, and now as a father understanding the watchful gaze of a parent overseeing the playful circus. Venice is one my favorite LA places to shoot.

Process & Materials

Matt’s contemporary street photography combines modern images with vintage Polaroid nostalgia. Aiming to evoke a sense of discovery and familiarity in the same visual experience.

Each image is skillfully printed directly on *Aluminum Dibond which produces a top-grade, robust print with a long lifespan. The low net weight of the material, was carefully chosen for his large formats.

*Aluminum Dibond is a composite material. It is 1/8 in. thick and has 3 layers. Two aluminum layers with a platinum white look that sandwich a black (1 mm) polyethylene core.

Each piece is a matte, reflection-free print using a state-of-the-art 7-color printing method. White and brighter parts of the image have a subtle sheen. Gallery rails are mounted on the rear of the art simplifying wall hanging..

The final result is a high picture quality art print on a unique material with outstanding durability.

How do I hang my picture?

Depending on the product and its size, Aluminum rails are our most-used wall-mount. Depending on the size of the piece, two or four rails are attached to the back of the product.

Hanging your picture can generally be done with two screws or hooks anchored or screwed into holes in the wall. For my seller images two nails may suffice. You should always use two nails, screws, or hooks so that your picture will not slide to the side or hang crooked. All of my artworks are compatible with gallery rails, in which hooks are attached to thin nylon wires.
